Division 2 Boosting explosion has a ring to it, the firearms have a fade efffect that accounts for much more depth and range of bullet traveling not to mention the music so far has ben considerably more exciting in the beta when it works;)I think snow appeared as its easier to cover all things with one advantage that is white and make it look fine. I think The Division 2 seems but only by a small margin as there is much more resources that are placed so that it kinda does have to look messy and trashed. The ecological effects are more varied as well.
I believe the only place The Division 2 Boosting has the similar texture to The Division 1 is if you're in the tunnels or even the darker regions while being outdoor isn't as extreme as the game. Might have to do with the tight packed streets of NY versus the broader open regions of DC.Regardless the game has more things to do and various quests and lots of loot so I cant wait to play it.
Personally I prefer the appearance and setting of The Section 1. The town, the sow, the neighboring winter winds just amazing. The Division 2 just look like a updated sports roster with a new stadium to play in, same controls interface ect. Maybe it will show better to some, but I just don't see it. The actual hurdle is can't get over is that the still existing bad AI, and shot gun to the head of a NORMAL HUMAN doesn't equal dead. I am sorry but rpg/mmo light just doesn't operate in a semi or modern modern setting.
